PANETTONE FLAVORING

Making panettone flavoring at home is really simple and quick. It is preferable to store-bought because it is made exclusively with fresh ingredients, has no preservatives, and no chemical ingredients. It should be prepared the day before use and left to rest so that the flavors blend well together. I also use it for preparing pandoro or to flavor cakes and cookies.

Ingredients for the panettone flavoring

  • 1 pod vanilla (or 10 g of vanilla extract)
  • 1 lemon (zest)
  • 1 orange (zest)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp marsala (or rum)

Tools

  • 1 Food Processor Thermomix TM31 – TM5 – TM6
  • 1 Jar

Notes

It can also be frozen, perhaps in ice cube trays, so when needed, the ‘cube’ can be used. It will be thawed in the refrigerator.

Egg marsala is also fine.
