Sweet and Sour Pork Tenderloin Cubes is an oriental recipe typical of the Chinese tradition, yet loved and known around the world.
These are pork bites, first marinated then floured or battered and fried, later combined with a thick sweet and sour sauce and sautéed in a wok with bell peppers, carrots, spring onions, and pineapple cubes, though I did not use the latter.
Sweet and sour pork is very flavorful and tasty, great for special occasions or simply to impress your guests with a different dish from the usual, perfect served with steamed white rice.
Let’s see how to prepare this variant for an excellent sweet and sour pork.

Preparation for Sweet and Sour Pork Tenderloin Cubes
Cut the pork tenderloin into small cubes, place them in a bowl, and marinate with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, some salt, and pepper if you prefer, though I did not use it, mix well and let it rest for a while.
Meanwhile, prepare the other ingredients, clean and wash the vegetables, then cut them into julienne strips. In a small pot, heat the accompanying sweet and sour sauce then pour: the vinegar, sugar, two tablespoons of soy sauce, and ketchup.
Drain the pork tenderloin cubes well and coat them in flour, then brown them in the wok or a deep pan with some olive oil and 1 clove of garlic, stir and brown for at least 7 minutes, adding very little water if necessary.
Once cooked well, salt, remove the garlic and set aside. With a napkin, clean the wok, pour in some olive or seed oil, bring it to high temperature, and then cook the bell pepper, onion, and carrot for about 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
Combine the pork cubes with the vegetables, pour the sweet and sour sauce, mix and blend the flavors well, cook for a few minutes then serve the pork cubes hot.
