Chocolate cookies are fragrant and chocolaty treats that bring love and good mood, thanks to the chocolate, which is the main ingredient.
They are easy to make and suitable for any occasion. They can be served as dessert, for breakfast, as a snack, or for special occasions like Valentine’s Day.
They are not just a delight for the palate but also offer various benefits
Chocolate is known for its gratifying effect, thanks to substances like serotonin and phenylethylamine, which can improve mood and reduce stress. A chocolate cookie, with its mix of sweetness and crunchiness, is perfect for indulging in a moment of pampering and relaxation.
Thanks to the combination of carbohydrates and sugars, chocolate cookies provide quick energy, making them ideal for a fast breakfast or a snack between activities.
They are easy to transport and store, making them a practical option for any occasion.
Who, like me, associates them with childhood memories, happy moments spent with family, with grandmothers and aunts who are now just a sweet memory? Do you never stop for a moment and watch the world as a spectator? To reflect on the changes of loved ones, on how they have grown, aged, on how we were and how we are now…time slips away, but fortunately, memories do not.

Steps for Making Chocolate Cookies

Meanwhile, in a bowl, break the eggs and add the whole cane sugar. With the electric mixer whisk until you get a frothy mixture
Then slowly add the melted chocolate and mix well
Add the flour and baking powder and with the help of a spatula or wooden spoon, knead until you get a compact dough.
Let it rest in the fridge for half an hour.
After the resting time, the dough will have become more compact. Then shape balls of dough weighing 40 g each with your hands and roll them in powdered sugar.
Place them on a rectangular baking sheet lined with parchment paper and lightly press the center of each cookie with two fingers (index and middle), to give it a cookie shape and bake in a static oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes. Before removing from the oven, do the toothpick test Remove from the oven while slightly soft The cookies continue to bake with residual heat once removed from the oven.
Once baking is complete, allow to cool, and the chocolate cookies are ready to be enjoyed.
