Ingredients
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 5.3 oz butter
- to taste lemon zest
- to taste sliced almonds
- 18 oz strawberries
- 3 tablespoons sugar
How to Make the Crumble
Procedure
Wash and hull the strawberries, then cut them into pieces.
Mix them with the sugar and let them absorb the flavor.
Start with the shortcrust pastry: In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, butter in pieces, sugar, and eggs, and start mixing with your hands or a mixer.
Mix until you obtain a crumbly dough.
Divide the mixture in half, crumble it onto a 8-inch pan lined with parchment paper or buttered, then flatten the pastry with your hands.
Fill with the strawberries, then add the other half of the mixture, crumbling it coarsely with your hands, and the almonds. Bake in the oven at 356°F (180°C) for 40 minutes.
