Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry (rectangular)
- 2 apples
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons water
- as needed butter
- as needed powdered sugar
- as needed brown sugar
- as needed hazelnut crumbs

Steps
Start by removing the core, peel, and slice the apples thinly, then place them in a pan.
Add butter, water, sugar, and cinnamon to the pan and cook them over low heat for 7-8 minutes.
Take the rectangular puff pastry and divide it lengthwise into 5 equal parts.
Take the cooked and cooled apples, line them up on each strip you made with the pastry. (the apples should be placed on one side of each strip).
Fold the puff pastry of each strip over the apple slices, closing it halfway over them.
Then take the end and roll up the filled pastry.
Place all the rosettes inside the muffin molds and add a pinch of brown sugar and hazelnut crumbs.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 338°F for 45 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly!
Storage and Tips for Puff Pastry Apple Rosettes
These fantastic PUFF PASTRY APPLE ROSETTES can be easily stored under a cake dome for up to 3 days. I do not recommend freezing them due to the apples.
