- 3 apples
- juice of 1 lemon
- 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp orange marmalade
- 1 pinch salt
- Half packet baking powder
- 1/4 cup apricot jam
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 eggs

Steps for the preparation of the 5-minute apple and almond cake
First, clean the apples, remove the core, and slice them. Add the lemon juice, mix, and set aside.
Break the eggs and whisk them with the sugar using a hand whisk. Gradually add the milk and oil, the sifted flour and baking powder, salt, and the teaspoon of orange marmalade. Mix and pour the batter into a pan lined with parchment paper.
Spread the apricot jam over the cake, then add the apple slices, cinnamon, and sliced almonds. Finish with some granulated sugar and bake at 350°F, static, for 35-40 minutes. Let cool, dust with powdered sugar, and serve the cake cut into squares.
Storage
You can store the cake for two or three days under a glass dome.
