Ingredients for Chicken with Peppers
- 14 oz chicken breast (cut into strips or slices)
- 1.32 lbs peppers (yellow and red)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsps flour
- to taste salt
- 1 sprig parsley
How to Prepare Chicken Strips with Peppers
Wash the peppers. Clean them by removing the stalk, seeds, and internal filaments. Cut them into strips. Pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil into a pan. Add the garlic clove and the peppers. Let them cook over medium heat for 10 minutes, stirring often with a wooden spoon.
Cut the chicken breast into strips. Lightly flour the chicken strips. After 10 minutes of cooking, add the chicken to the pan with the peppers. Season with salt and let the chicken brown, turning it often.
Add the cherry tomatoes cut into quarters and continue cooking over medium heat for another 6-7 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the chopped parsley. Serve.
