Ingredients for Bacon Lollipops
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 3.5 oz bacon (thin slices)
- 1 egg (for brushing)
- to taste pepper
- 1 pinch fine salt
Useful Tools
- Parchment Paper
- Knife

- Skewers
- Small Bowl
Preparation of Bacon Lollipops
Unroll the puff pastry on the work surface and with a knife cut it into 6 strips lengthwise.
Place the bacon slices on each strip, fold each strip over itself lengthwise, sealing the edges with your fingers (so the bacon stays inside).
Roll each strip into a spiral and insert a toothpick (this will keep it in place while cooking and to enjoy after it’s cooked!), place the bacon lollipops on a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Preheat the oven to 428°F, beat the egg with a pinch of salt, brush the lollipops and sprinkle a bit of pepper on top, and when the oven is hot, bake them, cook for 28/30 minutes, then remove from oven, the lollipops are ready when they are golden brown!
Tips
You can serve the bacon lollipops either warm or hot, perfect to serve during appetizers or cocktails.
