Seed buns for mini burgers are soft and delicious bites enriched with mixed seeds, perfect for serving at a mini meat hamburger buffet, small enough to enjoy in two bites, making them the ideal finger food. They are so tasty that you can also prepare them to enrich the bread basket or serve on individual bread plates. These seed buns for mini burgers are truly delightful, but if you prefer, you can also leave them plain. With the same dough, you can prepare classic burger buns: just adjust the weight.

Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups cake flour
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp dry yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- as needed mixed seeds for bread
Tools
- 1 Mixer Kitchen Aid Artisan
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Reusable Fabric Lid
- 1 Kitchen Brush
Steps
In the mixer bowl, pour the milk and water. Add the flours with the dry yeast and knead for about ten minutes, then add the salt and work the dough until it is well combined. Finally, add the oil. Transfer the dough into a bowl, cover it, and let it rise. It took two hours for me to double, but the time may vary depending on the temperature in your home. Place the dough on the work surface and divide it into balls weighing 40 grams each. The recipe states you should get 10/12, but I made 17 balls. Shape the balls as shown HERE. Arrange the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them with a bit of water and sprinkle the seeds on the surface. Let them rise for an hour: they should double. Bake in a preheated oven at 375 °F for 20 minutes or until golden.
