Gorgonzola and Pear Crostini

Gorgonzola and pear crostini are a quick, tasty, and delightful appetizer: lightly toasted bread, creamy gorgonzola, and pear jam, just a few ingredients, a handful of minutes, and it’s done. If you’re in the mood to invest a bit more effort or have time, you can sauté diced pears with a little oil or butter in a pan and add them to your crostini. Finish with some chopped walnuts, and you’ll have even more special Gorgonzola and pear crostini!

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • 7 oz mild gorgonzola
  • 6.3 oz pear jam

Steps

  • Slice the bread into about half-inch thick slices, place them on a baking sheet lined with the reusable mat, and toast in a preheated oven at 392 °F for five minutes. Spread the mild gorgonzola on the bread slices and add a teaspoon of pear jam. Arrange on a serving plate and serve immediately.
