HERB BREAD DUMPLINGS IN BROTH

in

Herb bread dumplings in broth are one of the many versions of the famous South Tyrolean dumplings. Simple to prepare, they are perfect for the first cold days. I used the aromatic herbs that my garden gives me every year, but you can use the ones you like best.

  • COOKING AND SEASONING: Dumplings should be cooked for 15 minutes in vegetable broth. Once cooked, serve with grated Parmesan cheese.

NOTES

Once the dumplings are formed, they can be stored in the refrigerator for 2 days.

I used these finely chopped aromatic herbs: chives, parsley, thyme, marjoram, basil, rosemary, mint.

Alternatively, they can be frozen. (then they will be immersed in hot water frozen, and cooked a few minutes longer than the 15)
