Ingredients for Baked Breaded Squid Rings

  • 1 lb squid rings (fresh or thawed)
  • 6 tbsps bread crumbs
  • 1 bunch parsley (fresh)
  • 5 leaves basil
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 3 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch fine salt
  • 1 lime (optional)

Steps to Make Perfect Baked Breaded Squid Rings

  • Rinse the squid rings (whether fresh or thawed) under running water for a few minutes, then drain them well.

  • Place the squid rings in a bowl and season them with 1 tablespoon of oil, then mix.

  • In another small bowl, put the bread crumbs, chopped basil, parsley, and rosemary, add a pinch of salt and mix well.

  • Pour the flavored bread crumbs into the bowl with the squid rings and mix well, ensuring the breading adheres perfectly to the rings.

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, distribute the flavored squid rings on top (make sure they are well spaced), pour the remaining oil, which is 2 tablespoons.

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 428°F and cook for 15 minutes, and voilà, the baked breaded squid rings are ready to be enjoyed!
