Savory Pie with Zucchini, Speck, and Brie, simple and quick rustic dish, yet delicate. Perfect for a dinner with friends, but also to serve at a buffet or for an aperitif.
I really like savory pies, they are a great dinner saver and are generally appreciated by everyone, young and old. And in this period, I am overwhelmed with zucchinis (which fortunately everyone in my house likes) and I always have to come up with different ways to cook them.
The recipe I propose today is really delicious: if you like brie and speck you must try it.
Let’s see how to make the recipe for the Savory Pie with Zucchini, Speck, and Brie. Prepare the ingredients and let’s start.
And if you try it, don’t forget to let me know in the comments on my Facebook page HERE. I look forward to it.

Ingredients
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 2 eggs
- 3.5 oz brie
- 2.8 oz speck
- 2 zucchini (medium small)
- 1.4 oz grated Parmesan cheese
- salt
- pepper
Tools
To make the Savory Pie with Zucchini, Speck, and Brie recipe you need:
- 1 Electric Grater
- 1 Baking Dish
Steps
First, wash the zucchini and trim them; then grate them with a grater with semi-large holes or with the vegetable slicer (practical and fast, without effort) and let them drain in a strainer or colander.
Let them rest for a few minutes, then squeeze them with a spoon to release as much water as possible
At this point, put the squeezed zucchini in a bowl (or in a plate with high edges), add the eggs, the grated cheese, the brie cut into cubes, the speck finely chopped, the salt and pepper; mix everything well.
Then, transfer the puff pastry with its parchment paper inside a rectangular baking pan and, with the prongs of a fork, prick the bottom: this way the pastry will not puff up during cooking.
Cover the bottom with the mixture, arrange the edges by rolling up the excess dough and finally sprinkle the surface with a bit of grated cheese and a drizzle of oil.
Bake in a hot oven at 350°F for about 25 – 30 minutes, or until the surface is nicely golden.
Here is the Savory Pie with Zucchini, Speck, and Brie. Take it out of the oven, let it rest for a few minutes, then carefully transfer it onto a serving plate and serve. Enjoy your meal!
See you at the next recipe.

You can store the Savory Pie for up to 1 day in the refrigerator. It is recommended to warm it before consuming.
