- A few leaves bay leaf
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
Tools
- 1 Baking sheet
- 1 Small pot

Preparation of Honey Onions
Peel the onions and slice them into rings about 1/4 inch thick.
Arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper without overlapping. Place a few small bay leaves here and there, season with salt and pepper to taste, and drizzle with a little olive oil.
Then bake in a preheated static oven at 350°F for 20 minutes.
Shortly before the onions are ready, put two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar and a bay leaf in a small pot. Heat on the stove. Then remove the bay leaf, add two tablespoons of liquid honey, and mix well.
Remove the onions from the oven and brush them with the honey and balsamic vinegar mixture.
Serve the honey onions immediately, nice and hot. Enjoy! Paola
