Ingredients
- 2 fillets sea bream (about 7 oz)
- 80 g sliced bread
- 1 egg
- 1/2 clove garlic
- 80 g breadcrumbs
- to taste salt
- 1 lemon (grated rind)
- to taste extra virgin olive oil
Tools
- 1 Fish Tweezers
- 1 Oil Sprayer
- 1 GOURMETmaxx Air Fryer
- 2 Air Fryer Parchment Paper
Steps
Remove the bones from the sea bream fillets using tweezers, season with salt and a drizzle of oil (I use the sprayer), and cook in an air fryer at 320 °F for 10 minutes, then let it cool. In a bowl, transfer the soaked, squeezed, and crumbled bread, add the egg, grated lemon rind, crumbled sea bream, salt, finely chopped garlic, and mix the ingredients with your hands until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Cover the bowl and let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. After the resting time, form meatballs weighing 1.4 oz each, flatten them well, and pass them in breadcrumbs. Place the meatballs in a baking dish or directly on the specially made parchment paper and cook them in an air fryer at 356 °F for 15 minutes, turning them halfway through cooking. Serve the sea bream meatballs hot.
