Ingredients

  • 4 medium eggs
  • 6 oz sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/3 cups fresh liquid cream
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract (or vanillin)

Tools

  • 1 KitchenAid Artisan Mixer
  • 2 Bowls
  • 1 10-inch Bundt Pan
  • 1 Cake tester
  • 1 Cooling Rack

Steps

  • In the mixer bowl, work the eggs with the sugar then add the vanilla, the warm melted butter, and 1 1/4 cups of fresh cream. Mix the ingredients, then add the flour sifted with the baking powder. Weigh the batter and divide it into two equal parts. One half should be left white. To the other, add the cocoa and the remaining 1/6 cup of cream, working the batter until smooth and lump-free. Pour the two batters into a greased and floured mold so that each covers half of the mold. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F for about 35/40 minutes. Remember to do the toothpick test to check the baking as every oven is different. Once ready, let the cake cool on a rack before cutting it into slices.
