Steps
How to make the Pan-Fried Flatbread
First, place all the ingredients in the bowl of the stand mixer and work until a soft and homogeneous dough is obtained.
You can also do this step without the mixer, by placing all the ingredients in a large bowl and mixing with a fork: it will just take a little longer.
Then, remove the dough from the mixer, make 3 – 4 folds (this process is to strengthen it) and form a loaf that you will let rest in a bowl for about 1 hour.
Then, after the resting time, flatten it with your hands and form a log: divide it with a spatula into 6 – 7 balls that you will let rest again for half an hour, covered with a clean cloth.
Then, flatten them with a rolling pin, sprinkle with herbs of your choice, and cook them in a hot pan, lightly oiled, on both sides.
Finally, here are the Pan-Fried Flatbreads ready. Serve them still warm with your favorite cold cuts/cheese. Enjoy your meal!
