Ingredients

  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 8.8 oz feta
  • as needed extra virgin olive oil
  • as needed dried Mediterranean herbs (or spices of choice)
  • as needed honey

Tools

  • 1 Kitchen Knife
  • 1 Baking Dish

Steps

You won’t use the entire package of phyllo dough for this recipe, but it will definitely come in handy for other recipes.

  • Cut the feta into ten small rectangles. Fold a sheet of phyllo dough in half. Place each feta rectangle inside the phyllo sheet and wrap it up like a candy. Repeat the same process with all the feta rectangles and place them in a baking dish. Add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with herbs, and bake in a preheated oven at 356 °F for twenty-five minutes or until the pastries are golden and crispy. When ready, transfer them to a serving platter, drizzle with a bit of honey, and serve.
