Cream and Peach Cake
A seasonal dessert made with fresh peaches and custard, perfect for breakfast, as an afternoon snack, or even as a dessert at the end of a meal. A very simple cake to prepare with a few ingredients within everyone’s reach. I really like desserts with custard, so adding the custard to this cake and pairing it with peaches was an excellent choice! If you want some freshness, I recommend keeping it in the fridge!

Ingredients for the Cream and Peach Cake:
9-inch pan
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 packet baking powder
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 container plain natural yogurt
- orange zest (Lemon)
- 1 cup custard
- 3 peaches
Steps
The preparation of the cream and peach cake is very simple, watch the video HERE.
First, prepare the custard following the classic method HERE or faster in the microwave.
Start by beating the eggs with the sugar, then add the oil, yogurt, grated orange or lemon zest.
Add the baking powder and flour a little at a time, mixing at low speed. Once well combined, place it in a floured mold.
Level with a spatula and put the custard on top using a piping bag. I chose to make circles, but you can also make stripes, tufts, etc. Place it as you like best. On top of the custard, place the sliced peaches. Add a bit of almond slivers.
Bake at 350°F for about 40/50 min
Enjoy your meal!
