Homemade oat granola is a very simple, healthy, and tasty recipe, perfect for a nutritious and rich breakfast. Great to enjoy in cold or warm milk and yogurt with fresh fruit. For my homemade oat granola, I chose a simple mix of only oat flakes, honey, and chocolate chips, but I recommend adding almonds and hazelnuts, and if you like, also dehydrated red fruits. The homemade oat granola can be stored for a week in a well-sealed jar, so prepare the right amount you think you’ll consume in this short time.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups oat flakes
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2/3 cup chocolate chips
Tools
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Baking Tray
- 1 Parchment Paper Sheet
- 1 Airtight Jar
Steps
In a bowl, mix the oat flakes with the honey. Once well combined, spread them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 12 minutes. Let them cool and then break them into small pieces. At this point, add the chocolate chips and nuts as desired. Mix and place inside a glass jar with an airtight seal.
Notes
If you want to add nuts, make a mix of 3.5 oz between hazelnuts and almonds. I find the hazelnuts already toasted, otherwise, it is necessary to put them in the oven at 350°F for a few minutes.
