The meatballs in sauce without eggs are digestible and light.
I prepared my meatballs with mixed ground meat of beef and pork [ask for lean] flavored with whole wheat breadcrumbs and parmesan, without eggs and cooked them in simple tomato sauce.
Alternatively, you can use ground chicken breast or turkey breast.
Delicious, they bring joy to both adults and children.

Ingredients
Regarding the sauce, the quantity varies according to the diameter of the pan used.
The sauce should not cover the meatballs but remember it reduces while cooking.
I add about 1 and 2/3 cups (400 ml).
- 8.5 oz lean mixed ground beef and pork (lean)
- 1 tbsp whole wheat breadcrumbs
- 1 tbsp parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 pinch garlic powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch mixed peppercorns (with grinder)
- to taste parsley (chopped)
- to taste tomato sauce (homemade)
Preparation
In a bowl, place:
• the meat;
• the whole wheat breadcrumbs;
• the grated cheese;
• garlic [optional];
• salt;
• pepper;
• parsley;
and mix the ingredients.Prepare a flat plate or a tray.
With your hands, form balls and place them on the plate or tray.
To get meatballs as uniform as possible, I use a 7.5 g or 15 g scoop depending on the desired size.
In a hot pan, brown a sprinkle of garlic powder [optional].
Add the sauce* and heat it to a boil.

Let cook with a lid on low heat for about 5 minutes.
Turn the meatballs.
Season with:
• salt;
• pepper;
• parsley.Let cook with a lid on low heat from 5 to 10 minutes according to size until the meatballs are fully cooked and the sauce is reduced.

Enjoy your meal!
Move the meatballs to the edges of the pan.
Cook the pasta, rinse it under running water, and drain it.
Pour the pasta into the center of the pan and mix with the sauce.
Plate it.
