Curiosities

Chanterelles, also known as girolle or golden chanterelles, have a funnel-shaped and irregular cap, with a jagged edge and a bright yellow color. They have a scent reminiscent of fresh fruit (plums, peaches, or apricots). They have a sweet taste and are considered “the parsley of mushrooms” because they can be cooked in many ways: excellent for risotto, with polenta, or as a side dish to meat courses.
