Delicate Oven-Baked Salmon Fillet

The oven-baked salmon fillet is extremely easy and quick to prepare, and it’s delicate, light, and healthy.
Bone-free, it’s perfect for children.

The salmon
Salmon is a freshwater and marine fish typical of the cold northern seas.
Atlantic salmon is the only one native to Europe.

Today, salmon is mostly farmed.

You can buy it fresh or  [the latter also available wild].
Fresh salmon, in fillets or steaks, available at fish markets or frozen, is a fish with numerous nutritional properties, tender and tasty flesh, rich in omega-3 fatty acids, and low in cholesterol.
The fillet [dorsal part] is the leanest part.

Alternatively, you can use salmon steaks.

Delicate Oven-Baked Salmon Fillet

Ingredients

  • 2 fillets salmon (weight according to diet plan)
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch mixed peppercorns (with grinder)
  • as needed parsley (chopped)
  • 1 drizzle extra virgin olive oil (raw)
  • as needed lemon (sliced)

Suggested Tools

  • 1 Colander
  • Absorbent paper for kitchen
  • 1 Baking tray 10×11.4 inches
  • 1 sheet of parchment paper

Preparation

  • Wash the salmon fillets thoroughly under running water, let them drain in a colander, and pat them dry with kitchen paper towels.
    They must be very dry.

  • Whether fresh or thawed, take the salmon fillets out of the fridge at least half an hour before cooking.

    Line a baking tray or dish with a sheet of parchment paper and place the salmon fillets on top [skin side up, if present].

    Briefly preheat the oven.
    Bake at 350°F in a fan-oven for 20 minutes.

  • Gently remove the skin from the fillets, if present.

  • Plate the fillets.

    Season with salt and pepper, add some parsley, and drizzle with a little olive oil.
    Serve with lemon slices.

    Your delicate oven-baked salmon fillets are ready.
