Ingredients for oven-baked stuffed chicken roll
- 1.76 lbs Chicken (breast)
- 4 Cheese slices (or string cheese)
- 2 Eggs
- 4 slices Roasted turkey (or cooked ham)
- 1 clove Fresh garlic
- 2 sprigs Rosemary
- 2 tbsps Roast spices (leveled)
- 1 glass Dry white wine
- 0.7 oz Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 tbsp All-purpose flour

Preparation of stuffed chicken roll
With a sharp knife, divide the chicken breast in two along the center line, removing the small bone and nerve. Open and spread out the chicken breasts with the cut side up. Place them between two sheets of parchment paper and pound with a rolling pin or meat mallet.
Prepare two omelettes: in a bowl, beat the egg with a fork, season with salt and pepper, add a teaspoon of roast mix, half a tablespoon of flour, mix well and cook in a small non-stick pan greased with a little oil. Repeat for the second omelette.
Assemble the roll: lay the omelettes on each half breast, distribute the roasted turkey slices and cheese slices, then roll and tie with kitchen twine.
Grease a baking dish with a little oil and place the two rolls obtained, along with rosemary, garlic, and wine, sprinkle with roast mix and a pinch of salt. Bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for about 20/30 minutes, turning halfway through cooking for even browning.
