Ingredients for the Strawberry and Chocolate Cake

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 14 oz strawberries
  • 2.8 oz dark chocolate
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3.3 tbsp seed oil
  • 1/2 lemon zest (untreated)
  • 1/2 packet baking powder (8 grams)
  • as needed powdered sugar (for decoration)

What you need to prepare the Strawberry Cake

  • Mixer
  • Baking Pan

How to prepare the Strawberry and Chocolate Cake

  • Wash the strawberries, clean them, and cut them into cubes. Also cut the dark chocolate into small pieces or you can opt for chocolate chips.

  • Beat the whole eggs with the sugar using an electric mixer for 6-7 minutes until you get a light and frothy mixture.

  • Add the seed oil, milk, and grated lemon zest. Mix.

  • Now add the sifted flour and baking powder. Mix.

  • Finish the preparation by adding the strawberries and dark chocolate. Simply mix with a spatula to incorporate them into the batter.

  • Pour the batter into a rectangular pan, mine measures 9 x 11 inches, lined with parchment paper. If you prefer, you can use a round cake tin of 9.5 inches in diameter with the same quantities.

  • Bake the Strawberry and Chocolate Cake in a preheated oven at 350°F in static mode for 35-40 minutes. Let it cool and decorate it as desired with powdered sugar.
