Ingredients for the Strawberry and Chocolate Cake
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 14 oz strawberries
- 2.8 oz dark chocolate
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3.3 tbsp seed oil
- 1/2 lemon zest (untreated)
- 1/2 packet baking powder (8 grams)
- as needed powdered sugar (for decoration)
What you need to prepare the Strawberry Cake

How to prepare the Strawberry and Chocolate Cake
Wash the strawberries, clean them, and cut them into cubes. Also cut the dark chocolate into small pieces or you can opt for chocolate chips.
Beat the whole eggs with the sugar using an electric mixer for 6-7 minutes until you get a light and frothy mixture.
Add the seed oil, milk, and grated lemon zest. Mix.
Now add the sifted flour and baking powder. Mix.
Finish the preparation by adding the strawberries and dark chocolate. Simply mix with a spatula to incorporate them into the batter.
Pour the batter into a rectangular pan, mine measures 9 x 11 inches, lined with parchment paper. If you prefer, you can use a round cake tin of 9.5 inches in diameter with the same quantities.
Bake the Strawberry and Chocolate Cake in a preheated oven at 350°F in static mode for 35-40 minutes. Let it cool and decorate it as desired with powdered sugar.
