Ingredients for the Puff Pastry Treats with Nutella
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 7.05 oz Nutella®
- 3 tablespoons milk (for brushing)
- 2 tablespoons sugar (for decorating)
- 18 milk chocolate eggs
How to prepare Puff Pastry Bunnies
Roll out the rectangular puff pastry sheet on the work surface and divide it into 2 parts lengthwise.
Spread Nutella on one half. Cover with the other half of the puff pastry.
Use a pastry wheel to cut strips about 0.5 inches wide. Then divide each strip into 2 parts.
Form a U with each strip and then twist them twice. Press the tips slightly and pull them outward. Prepare all of them the same way.
As you prepare them, place them slightly spaced apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them with milk and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
Bake the treats in the preheated oven at 374°F in static mode for 18-20 minutes. Let them cool, dust with powdered sugar, and then gently insert a chocolate egg into the hollow.
See you tomorrow with a new recipe, hugs, Loredana
Loredana’s Tips
The treats last for one day. If you don’t serve them immediately, I recommend adding the egg only at the end
