Ingredients for preparing the strawberry mille-feuille, easy recipe

  • 1 rectangular puff pastry
  • 1 1/4 cups mascarpone
  • 7 oz white chocolate
  • 7 oz fresh strawberries
  • to taste powdered sugar

Steps for preparing the strawberry mille-feuille

To prepare the delicious strawberry mille-feuille, we start by washing the strawberries very well and cutting them into small pieces, leaving two or three whole to garnish the dish at the end.

Roll out the puff pastry on a work surface with its parchment paper.

  • Then divide it into three equal rectangles by cutting them from the long side of the pastry and prick them with the prongs of a fork. Arrange them on a rectangular baking tray and bake in a static oven at 350°F, on the lower rack, for about 20 minutes until lightly golden.

    Once baking is finished, remove from the oven and let cool completely.

  • Meanwhile, in a bowl, pour in the mascarpone and white chocolate and with the electric beaters mix well until you get a smooth cream.

  • At this point, dust each slice of puff pastry with plenty of powdered sugar and place the first layer on a serving plate.

    Transfer the cream to a piping bag with a ribbed nozzle, and cover the pastry with many tufts of cream, as in the photo. Add the chopped strawberries, and cover with another rectangle of puff pastry. Proceed in the same manner, filling it with cream and strawberries.

    Finish by adding the last layer, decorating it in the center with a tuft of cream and a strawberry cut into wedges.
