Please do not change anything and do not use your personal shortcrust recipe because you will not get the result you see in the picture. This particular shortcrust is designed so that the patterns stay imprinted on top even after baking. Trust me!
I bought the cookie cutters and baking tray on Cocorò.
For baking, I used the perforated baking tray.
If you prefer, to make the cookies you can use a simple pastry cutter or classic cookie cutters and create the cavity with a bottle cap without pressing too hard: you won’t have the decorations and carvings on the cookies but it’s definitely a more homemade method accessible to everyone.
How much spread to use? I’d say about a generous tablespoon of each.
