Ingredients for the Puff Pastry Tree
- 1 sheet puff pastry (rectangular)
- 8.8 oz Nutella®
- 4 tablespoons milk
- 3 tablespoons colored sprinkles
How to prepare the Puff Pastry and Nutella Tree
Roll out the sheet of rectangular puff pastry on the work surface and divide it into 2 parts. Spread the Nutella on half of the puff pastry.
Cover with the other puff pastry and press lightly with your hands to adhere.
Use a star-shaped cutter to cut out many stars from the puff pastry and Nutella. Use the scraps to make smaller stars.
Arrange the stars on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Start from the base, slightly overlapping them. Place 6 stars for the base and then proceed upwards, decreasing the number of stars.
You will have 6 stars at the base, then 5 stars, 4 stars, 3 stars, 2 stars, and finally one star. Then, place a star on top and smaller stars scattered over the tree.
Brush with milk and decorate with colored sprinkles.
Bake the Star Tree with Nutella in a preheated oven at 375°F in static mode for 25 minutes. Let it cool before transferring it to a tray and decorate it as you wish with powdered sugar.

Loredana’s Tips
If you want to make a larger dessert, just use 2 sheets of rectangular puff pastry and increase the stars, so you can then make a larger Tree.
Bake all the puff pastry and Nutella scraps in the oven, and they will be delicious, maybe not pretty to look at but still special.
