Cheese puff pastry tartlets ready in just a few minutes. The holidays are approaching quickly, and we all know that appetizers are never enough, and we’re always looking for some tasty ideas to impress family and friends. But we can’t spend too much time in front of the stove because during the holidays there are always a lot of things to do. So, simple and quick recipes are welcome, especially those that make us look good, just like the recipe I’m sharing with you today. Many puff pastry stars simply filled with grated Parmesan and baked in the oven. They’re so good and delicious that I recommend making plenty because they disappear in a flash. The recipe is very simple, even for those who are not very handy in the kitchen, and you can also get help in the preparation from the little ones at home. I also recommend the recipe for the Savory Salmon Log and the Pizza Puff Pastry Wreath. Let’s head to the kitchen and prepare some irresistible Cheese Tartlets together.

How to Prepare Puff Pastry Tartlets

  • Roll out a rectangular sheet of puff pastry on the work surface. Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out many stars. Brush the edges of half the stars with milk.

  • Place half a teaspoon of cheese in the center of the stars you brushed. Cover with the other puff pastry stars, pressing around the edges to seal them. Arrange them side by side on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  • Brush them with milk and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Bake the Puff Pastry Stars in a preheated oven at 375°F on static mode for 18-20 minutes.

Loredana’s Tips

You can prepare the Tartlets in advance. Simply warm them up in a hot oven for a few minutes to make them crispy again.

For a more intense flavor, you can replace the grated Parmesan with a stronger cheese.
