Orange Bread without Butter

Orange bread is a soft, delicate, and quick and easy dessert to prepare.

Based on orange, which is blended with the peel directly with the other ingredients.

Its aroma is irresistible, just like its taste.

Ideal for breakfast, or as a snack enjoyed with a good glass of warm milk or tea.

A healthy dessert as it is butter-free and rich in vitamin C from the orange.

Also prepared with type 1 stone-ground flour, but if you don’t have it at home, you can easily replace it with type 00 flour. In the kitchen, it’s essential to always use less processed ingredients.

Steps for the preparation of the orange bread

To prepare the delicious orange bread, we start by washing the orange well, including the peel, under running water and cutting it into small pieces on a cutting board. Then, in a bowl we place the eggs, flour, sugar, oil, baking powder, and the orange pieces. Then we pour everything into the handy Moulinex blender and blend for a minute and a half until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

Meanwhile, line a loaf pan with parchment paper and pour the batter, leveling it well. Optionally, add three thin slices of orange on top, a sprinkle of sugar, and bake at 356°F for 20 minutes and then at 338°F for another 10-15 minutes.

Before removing from the oven, always make sure to do the toothpick test.

  • Once baking is finished, remove from the oven, let cool, and sprinkle with plenty of powdered sugar, and finally serve… enjoy!
