The creamy apple tart is one of those desserts you can’t resist.
Creamy with a crunch, it’s different from the usual apple cakes. It’s made with a butter-free dough, whole cane sugar, all enriched with chopped hazelnuts that make the difference.
A truly healthy cake in every way.
Ideal for breakfast or a snack, loved by both adults and kids.
It can be prepared in any season since apples are always available. For this recipe, I used Golden apples, but Renetta apples are also great.

Steps for the preparation of the healthy creamy apple tart
To prepare the delicious healthy creamy apple tart, start by peeling the apples and removing the seeds.
Then cut them in half and then into rectangular slices like French fries. If you have a mandoline, use it. Finally, cut into small squares. Next, take the butter-free shortcrust pastry and divide it into two parts. One larger and one smaller.
With the smaller part, make rolls, like gnocchi but narrower, to decorate the tart.
Then, in a tart pan previously greased, roll out the remaining shortcrust pastry and prick it with a fork to prevent bubbles from forming during baking. Create a half-inch high edge around the entire pan. Then evenly spread the apple jam, then place the apple pieces all over the surface, and finally decorate with the shortcrust rolls.
Sprinkle the edges generously with chopped hazelnuts and bake in a static oven at 356°F for about 30 minutes. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let cool. It’s also excellent served warm, enjoy!
