Cavatelli with Walnut Sauce and Radicchio

Indeed, radicchio is always available in the market. It is a vegetable rich in antioxidants and fibers. Furthermore, it is purifying, thanks to the high amount of water it contains.

The cavatelli are artisanal, made with Italian wheat flour from “La Dispensa della Casalinga”, as well as the excellent walnut sauce, a typical Ligurian condiment based on walnuts.

Ingredients for Preparing Cavatelli with Walnut Sauce and Radicchio

  • 14 oz cavatelli
  • 1 jar walnut sauce
  • 2.8 oz stracchino
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • to taste extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste salt
  • 3.5 oz radicchio

  • 1 Cutting Board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Wooden Spoon

Steps

To prepare the delicious cavatelli with walnut sauce and radicchio, start by taking a cutting board

  • And with the help of a knife, cut the radicchio into pieces. Then let it soak for about ten minutes in cold water and wash it well, rinsing often. Once the time has passed, take a non-stick skillet, add some extra virgin olive oil, heat it up and fry the garlic.

  • Once fried, remove it and add the radicchio to the skillet. Then salt it and cook with a lid. It will take about 10 minutes. Occasionally, stir with a wooden spoon. Meanwhile, cook the cavatelli in plenty of salted water. Once the cooking is done, add the stracchino and the walnut sauce to the radicchio and mix.

  • Finally, season the cavatelli and the dish is ready… enjoy your meal!
