Ingredients for the Ricotta and fig cream
- 7 oz ricotta
- 7 oz plain white yogurt
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/3 lbs figs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 sprig mint
How to prepare the Yogurt and ricotta cream with fresh figs
I use the figs without peeling them, but if you prefer you can do so. Wash the figs well. Remove the stem and the base. Cut 4 figs into wedges and the rest into small pieces. Put the chopped figs into a saucepan and add the granulated sugar.
Let them cook over low heat for about 18-20 minutes, stirring often with a wooden spoon. You need to get the consistency of a jam. Let it cool.
Mix the ricotta with the yogurt, powdered sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl. Distribute the Ricotta and yogurt cream into 4 glasses or cups. Cover with the fig compote and finish with the fig wedges and some fresh mint leaves. Store in the fridge for at least an hour.
