Turmeric has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, is a good source of fiber that helps to reduce cholesterol levels in the blood. Ingredients for Chicken Breast with Zucchini

  • 14 oz chicken breast
  • 4 tbsps flour
  • 1.1 lbs zucchini
  • 0.5 cups milk
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 bunch parsley
  • as needed salt
  • 1 pinch pepper

How to prepare the Chicken with Zucchini

  • Wash the zucchinis. Trim the ends and slice them thinly. Pour 2 tablespoons of olive oil into a non-stick pan and add the garlic clove. Also add the zucchinis and let them cook over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring often with a wooden spoon.

  • Remove the garlic clove and transfer the zucchinis to a plate. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces and mix it in a bowl with the flour.

  • Pour 3-4 tablespoons of olive oil into the same pan where you cooked the zucchinis. Let the chicken breast brown over medium heat for 2-3 minutes. Add the zucchinis to the chicken.

  • Season with salt and pepper. Mix the milk with the turmeric in a small bowl. Pour the milk and turmeric over the Chicken and zucchinis. Stir well over medium heat for 2 minutes.

  • Finally, add a sprinkle of chopped parsley and serve.
