Filled Chocolate Eggs
A cute idea to create a pre-portioned dessert since we use the base of small eggs, making it very convenient and simple to serve. For filling, I chose to use crumbled sponge cake and cream, but cookies, ladyfingers, and any type of cream work well too. A very quick and versatile scenic recipe! First, we open the eggs in half. Place some crumbled sponge cake inside. Add a bit of sweetened whipped cream on top using a piping bag. Decorate with glaze or syrup to taste (I chose caramel glaze) and add some more crumbled sponge cake.
