Ingredients for the Dove Cake with Coffee and Chocolate:

  • 5 oz butter (Soft)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp coffee
  • 1 packet baking powder
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3 1/2 oz white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup whipping cream

Steps

  • Place the room temperature butter and sugar in a bowl and start mixing with an electric mixer. Add the eggs one at a time and let them incorporate. Add the milk.

  • Add the flour and baking powder a little at a time. Finally, add the cocoa. Scrape the sides well and pour the mixture into the dove-shaped mold.

  • Smooth and level with a silicone spatula, then bake at 350°F for about 40 minutes.

    For the topping:

    Melt the chocolate with the boiling cream. Place a layer over the cooled dove cake.

  • Let it harden for a few minutes, then add another layer on top. Grate a bit of chocolate.

  • Enjoy your meal!
