Ingredients for the Vegan Strawberry Crumble

  • 7 oz strawberries
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup almonds (ground into flour)
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Procedure to prepare the Vegan Strawberry Crumble

  • Wash the strawberries well and slice them not too thinly.

  • Mix the 2 flours of oats and almonds in a bowl, add the cinnamon and sugar and mix with a wooden spoon adding the tablespoons of oil.

This will create a grainy mixture.

Arrange the strawberries at the bottom of the baking dish, making sure to overlap them as little as possible. Cover with the mixture obtained from the previous ingredients.

Decorate to taste, I placed two half strawberries in the center. <3

Bake in a ventilated oven for about half an hour at 356 degrees Fahrenheit, or until golden brown.

Tips for you and variations

I recommend letting it cool well before tasting it if you don’t want to burn yourself, even though it’s hard to wait.

You can serve it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

This crumble lends itself to many variations: you can replace the strawberries with cherries, apples, pears, or figs, depending on your taste or the season.

You can find the cherry variant here

To keep it, you can store it in an airtight container for up to 5 days (but it won’t last that long)
