A roast made with an overnight marinade in the fridge, then covered in sauce and cooked first in foil, then uncovered. A festive main course that is always well-liked and can be prepared for any holiday from Easter to Christmas. A simple recipe that will always make a good impression! Ingredients for the Oven Roast with Marinade:

  • 4.2 cups water
  • bay leaves
  • rosemary
  • salt
  • pepper
  • horseradish
  • mustard seeds
  • soy sauce
  • mustard
  • barbecue sauce
  • garlic powder
  • bay leaves
  • pork meat

Steps

The preparation of the oven roast is simple, watch the video HERE.

  • Marinade preparation:

    In a container, put the water and spices and boil for a few minutes, then let it cool. Take the meat and cover it in the marinade.

  • Leave in the fridge overnight.

    Sauce preparation:

    Add chopped garlic, a bit of soy sauce, barbecue sauce, horseradish,

  • mustard, bay leaves, and mix well. The next day, take the meat and cover it with the prepared sauce, massaging it. Add herbs on top.

  • First wrap it with parchment paper, then with aluminum foil. Cook for about 1 hour at 350°F, then remove the paper and cook for another hour (depending on the size of the meat, it takes about 1 hour of cooking per kg of meat).
