Ingredients for Chicken Nuggets

  • 14 oz chicken breast
  • 2 3/4 oz corn flakes (unsweetened)
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • as needed extra virgin olive oil
  • as needed salt

How to prepare Chicken Nuggets in the oven

  • To prepare this recipe you need chicken breast nuggets that you can buy ready-made or cut from a whole chicken breast into pieces of more or less the same size.

  • Prepare the batter: pour the flour into a bowl. Gradually add the cold water while stirring with a whisk to prevent lumps from forming.

  • Transfer the cornflakes into a food bag and simply crush them with your hands to reduce them to smaller pieces. Using kitchen tongs, dip the chicken nuggets first in the batter and then in a bowl with cornflakes.

  • Let the cereal adhere around the chicken. As you prepare them, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Oil them on the surface.

  • Cook the Chicken Nuggets in the hot oven at 375°F in static mode for 20-22 minutes. At the end of cooking, salt them lightly.
