Ingredients for Puff Pastries with Figs
- 1 roll puff pastry (rectangular)
- 10.6 oz figs
- 6.35 oz ricotta
- 2.8 oz sugar
- 1.06 oz walnut kernels
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon
- as needed powdered sugar (for decoration)
How to prepare Puff Pastries with Figs and Ricotta
Wash the figs. Without peeling, just cut off the stem and base. Then cut them in half and then into 3 parts. Mix the ricotta with the sugar and a pinch of cinnamon in a bowl.
Roll out a rectangular roll of puff pastry on the work surface and cut it into 9 rectangles. My rectangles measure 3 x 4.7 inches. Spread a generous tablespoon of ricotta cream on each rectangle.
Place the fig slices on the ricotta. Add the walnut kernels in small pieces and decorate with some brown sugar. Fold the puff pastry all around.
Place the puff pastries with figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake them in a preheated oven at 374°F in static mode for 20-25 minutes. Let them cool slightly and sprinkle with some powdered sugar if desired.
