Ingredients for 6 baskets
- 1 piadina (rollable)
- 5 eggs
- 1 pinch salt
- 3.5 oz cooked ham
- 3 oz mozzarella
- to taste oregano
How to make piadina baskets
Take a piadina and roll it
Then place it on top of silicone muffin molds and cut to size with scissors. (In some molds, I placed a base with the piadina, but it’s not essential).
Beat the eggs with milk and a pinch of salt, then pour into each mold where you have placed the piadina.
Add the diced cooked ham, grated cheese, and oregano. Bake at 356°F for about 12 minutes.
Storage and Tips for Piadina Baskets
They can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container until the next day. For a lighter version, you can use whole wheat piadinas or those without lard.
