Meat Panzerotti easy and guaranteed success recipe! They are a tasty variant of the classic baked panzerotti. These are discs of breaded minced meat cooked in the oven, and for the more indulgent, they can also be fried. For the filling, let your imagination run wild with cooked ham, cheese, tomato, and mozzarella, but you can also stuff them with mushrooms or sautéed seasonal vegetables. Ingredients

  • 1.1 lbs ground chicken
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • as needed milk (if necessary)
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

How to make meat panzerotti

  • In a bowl, place the ground meat, egg, Parmesan, and salt.

  • Mix all the ingredients well, pour in the milk and knead with your hands.

  • Take some dough and shape it with your hands into large meatballs.

  • Spread the meat wrapped in food film and flatten it with a rolling pin.

  • Open the film and stuff the meat with cooked ham and cheese.

  • Close the panzerotti giving it the classic shape.

  • Pass them in toasted corn flour (for breading) or breadcrumbs.

  • At this point, cook them in an air fryer or oven with a drizzle of oil on top for about 15 minutes at 356°F or until golden brown.

Preservation for meat panzerotti

You can store the panzerotti in the refrigerator in an airtight container until the next day. For a tastier breading, you can add herbs or spices. You can also cook them in a pan with a drizzle of olive oil.
