Watermelon Draining and Detox Smoothie

Watermelon Draining and Detox Smoothie

Recipe with blender and also with Thermomix

After the holidays we all need to recover from the damage of summer.
Perhaps we have put our bodies to the test with a few extra calories or various cocktails and fried snacks.
But don’t worry, here’s a completely natural solution to fix it, which you can drink twice a day instead of a mid-morning or mid-afternoon snack.
But now let’s learn more about all the properties of these wonders of nature:
Watermelon contains citrulline, which helps reduce the accumulation of fat in cells.
It is an amino acid that is converted to arginine and leads cells to produce less fat tissue.
It is a natural diuretic that increases urine flow and protects the kidneys.
It has a detoxifying function, because the large amount of fluids, vitamin C, and potassium it contains stimulates diuresis and has a purifying and detoxifying effect.
As a result, it regulates blood pressure, both for the water intake and for the amount of mineral salts, especially potassium.
Like tomatoes, watermelon contains lycopene, the red carotenoid pigment that gives it its red color.
This important antioxidant is powerful in neutralizing harmful free radicals in our body.
Cucumber
Cucumber is a diet ally: very low in calories, it promotes a sense of fullness and if eaten with the peel is a good source of fiber, which promotes good intestinal function, helps reduce the risk of colon cancer, and controls the absorption of cholesterol and sugars.
Cucumber, both in its classic version and the round cucumber, can also be consumed with the peel.

In fact, it is advisable to consume it with the peel since most of the important nutrients are concentrated there.
Spinach
Spinach is famous for being a great source of iron.

They are also known for their antioxidant and anti-cancer properties thanks to the presence of vitamin A and vitamin C, magnesium, and carotenoids.
In addition, they exert an antioxidant and anti-cancer action: the credit goes to vitamins A and C, carotenoids, and magnesium.
Spinach is a source of fiber, which helps the intestinal transit of food, decreases undesirable fermentations, increases the sense of satiety, reduces the presence of carcinogens in the intestine, and enriches the intestinal flora with useful microorganisms.
