- Difficulty: Very easy
- Cost: Very cheap
- Preparation time: 5 Minutes
- Portions: 3 Pieces
- Cooking methods: Oven
- Cuisine: Italian
- Seasonality: Epiphany
Ingredients
- 1 puff pastry
- 4 tablespoons Nutella®
- 3 candied cherries
Steps
From one roll of pastry, I made 3 stockings about 4-5 inches high.
Remove the pastry from the fridge at least 10 minutes before.
If you’re not very skilled, cut out a shape from parchment paper and place it on the pastry and cut out.
Then fill with a spoon or two of Nutella and close with a shape, seal the edges well with a fork.
From the pastry scraps, cut rectangles about 2-2.5 inches x 1-1.2 inches, pinch the pastry in the center of the long side with your thumb and index finger to form a bow.
Then place the bows on the stockings and press well in the center so they don’t detach during baking, then prick the whole pastry.
To prevent the bows from sticking to the pastry and losing their shape, place parchment paper balls underneath.
Or you can make them as in the video HERE
Bake and cook for about 15 minutes in a hot oven at 392°F
Remove from the oven, cut the candied cherries in half and place them on the bows to decorate.
If you like, dust them with powdered sugar.
Bon appétit
