Ingredients
- 7 oz fresh liquid cream
- 1 1/4 cups whole milk
- 7 oz sugar
- 4 tsps instant coffee
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 5 oz mascarpone
- 2 1/2 oz pure alcohol
Steps
In a pot, pour the milk and cream, then add the sugar.
Heat over low heat, stirring continuously until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add the instant coffee and unsweetened cocoa, mixing well until you get a uniform mixture. Do not bring to a boil.
Once the mixture has slightly cooled, add the mascarpone and whisk vigorously until smooth and homogeneous.
Let the mixture cool completely (it’s important that it’s cold to prevent the alcohol from evaporating).
Add the alcohol and mix well to combine everything.
Pour the liqueur into a clean glass bottle and seal tightly.
Store the liqueur in the fridge for at least 24 hours before enjoying it, to allow the flavors to meld.
Shake the bottle well before serving.
