Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 500 ml pure alcohol
- 1.75 cups sugar
- 6 sprigs rosemary
- 1 lemon zest
Steps
Wash and dry the rosemary sprigs well.
Place the rosemary in a glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.
Add the lemon zest and pour in the alcohol.
Close the jar and let it infuse in a cool, dark place for 10-15 days, occasionally shaking the jar.
After the infusion time, bring the water to a boil in a pot.
Add the sugar and stir until completely dissolved. Let it cool completely.
Strain the alcohol using a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the rosemary and lemon zest.
Combine the cold syrup with the strained alcohol, mixing well.
Transfer the liqueur to sterilized glass bottles.
Let it rest for at least 15 days before consuming, so the flavors meld better.
