PUFF PASTRY TREE CENTERPIECE Christmas Appetizer
  • Difficulty: Very Easy
  • Cost: Economic
  • Preparation time: 15 Minutes
  • Portions: 6 People
  • Cooking methods: Oven
  • Cuisine: Italian
  • Seasonality: Christmas

Ingredients

  • 1 roll puff pastry
  • green olives
  • black grapes
  • arugula
  • Milano salami
  • prosciutto
  • pork coppa
  • cherry mozzarella balls (or smoked cherry balls)
  • walnuts

Steps

  • Cut the puff pastry into a tree shape, I used one from a cardboard mold and added an inch to create the edge.

  • Roll the perimeter to form a sort of edge, prick with a fork and bake in a hot oven at 365°F for 15 minutes.

  • Remove from oven and place it on the serving plate and start decorating with arugula.

  • At the top, I placed a salami rosette by folding the slice in half, rolling it, and opening it a bit with my fingers.

  • I alternated smoked cherry balls but you can use mozzarella bites or cheese to taste, then black grapes on the tips of the branches.

  • I added a few slices of turkey ham for me, perfect cooked ham, and green olives on the tips of the branches going down.

  • Corn chips then coppa rosettes, olives, and black grapes on the branches and finally walnuts at the base.

  • Of course, you can use the cold cuts and cheeses you like best.

    Bon appétit
