The recipe for cauliflower steaks is very simple, slice it, dip in egg and breadcrumbs, and cook as you prefer, adding a drizzle of oil for the oven or fryer.

Ingredients

  • 1 cauliflower
  • 3 eggs
  • breadcrumbs
  • grated parmesan (optional)

Steps

  • Cut the cauliflower into thick slices about 1-1.5 inches, if it starts to crumble, make the slices thicker.

  • Wash it well then beat the eggs in a dish, if you prefer add parmesan, pepper, and salt.

  • Pat the vegetable dry and pass it in the egg then in the breadcrumbs and again in the egg.

  • Place them in the air fryer basket, oil and cook at 375°F for about 15 minutes then flip them and cook for another 5 minutes.

  • You can bake them at 350°F for 20-25 minutes, depending on the thickness of the vegetables.
