The stuffed gastronomic panettone without rising is the perfect appetizer for Christmas and the holiday season, it’s prepared in a few minutes with simple ingredients you have at home and stuffed.

The recipe for the quick stuffed gastronomic panettone is an idea of mine from a few years ago, this time I thought to propose it again with another stuffing, I had some already cooked friarielli, ham, and provolone cheese in the fridge and the base was a breeze.

Of course, you can stuff it as you prefer, great with lettuce, arugula to make it faster, ham, speck, mortadella, and cheeses like pecorino, parmesan shavings or melted cheese slices if you like it gooey.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • Half packet instant yeast for savory preparations
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 7 tbsps extra virgin olive oil
  • cooked ham
  • mortadella with pistachios
  • provolone cheese
  • lettuce

Steps

  • Pour the water and oil into a bowl, mix with a hand whisk then add the eggs and keep mixing.

  • Add the flour with the yeast, the salt, a little at a time mixing well with the hand whisk until you get a creamy batter.

  • Pour everything into a panettone mold or a tall 6-inch by 4-inch mold, oil it and dust with breadcrumbs.

  • Bake at 356°F for 30-34 minutes.

  • Take it out of the oven, let it cool and cut into horizontal slices, stuff with the cold cuts, provolone, vegetables, as you like.
